Comments:
Nodular Sclerosis Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma (cHL) : The degree of fibrosis in nodular sclerosis cHL is quite variable. In milder forms, there is fibrosis of lymph node capsule and some collagen deposition around perivascular adventitia. The interior of the lymph node may be free of collagenous bands.

At the other extreme, the entire lymph node architecture is obliterated by dense fibrosis. Both Reed-Sternberg cells as well as reactive background cells may be sparse and not readily apparent. Such cases are frequently misdiagnosed, especially in small biopsy specimens.
