Comments:
Higher magnification of the previous image showing sheets of primitive-appearance cells with high N:C ratio. Most medulloblastomas present within the first decade of life. Rare cases do occur in advanced age. The presenting symptoms are usually secondary to obstruction of CSF flow (macrocephaly, headaches, nausea, and vomiting) or due to neurologic deficits (e.g. ataxia).
