Comments:
Microscopic Features of Hidradenoma Papilliferum (continued):The glandular structures in cribriform areas have variable irregularly-shaped lumens. There are complex papillary infoldings projecting into cystic spaces. Each branching papilla encloses a fibrovascular core and is lined by two-layered epithelium. The surface glandular layer is cuboidal or columnar epithelium with eosinophilic cytoplasm that frequently shows decapitation secretions. The inner layer contains myoepithelial cells with small, oval hyperchromatic nuclei.
