Adenocarcinoma of Lung

The image shows invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma in a 63 y/o male. The cut surface shows small cystic spaces filled with mucin. The tumor borders may be ill-defined when there is prominent peripheral lepidic component. The gross appearance may even mimic bronchopneumonia or tuberculosis. Image copyright: pathorama.ch.
