Comments:
The image shows post-radiation angiosarcoma of breast invading skeletal muscles of chest wall. The tumor appeared 9 years after lumpectomy and radiation therapy for invasive ductal carcinoma of breast in an elderly female (same case as previous two images).

At molecular level, post-radiation angiosarcomas show high level amplification of MYC (on 8q24) which can be detected by FISH or immunohistochemistry. In about 25% of cases, there is co-amplification of FLT4 which encodes VEGFR3.
