Comments:
Treatment & Prognosis of Breast Implant-associated ALCL: In patients with Stage 1 disease limited to the seroma cavity and no involvement of the breast parenchyma or regional lymph nodes, the prognosis is excellent. Surgical removal of the implant and capsulectomy alone are sufficient. The median survival is 12 years. Systemic chemotherapy is indicated in cases that develop a solid mass around the capsule.
