Comments:
The cytoplasm of endometrial cells becomes voluminous and strongly acidophilic as seen in the large gland on the left. Contrast its apppearance with the normal endometrial glands on the right. This lesion is often seen together with mucinous metaplasia and is associated with excessive estrogen stimulation.
