Ganglioneuroblastoma is a tumor of the sympathetic nervous system with an intermediate degree of differentiation (between neuroblastoma and the better differentiated ganglioneuroma). They tend to be better circumscribed than neuroblastoma and may even be encapsulated. The usual location is posterior mediastinum. The image shows soft, fleshy, somewhat homogenous tumor surface.
