Mucinous Carcinoma of Breast

This is an example of micropapillary variant of pure mucinous carcinoma of the breast. The tumor cells with low-grade morphology were arranged in solid tight clusters or a ring-like configuration with central open space. They were surrounded by copious amounts of extracellular mucin.
