Eosinophilic Cystitis

Comments:
The lamina propria shows an intense eosinophilic infiltrate. Many cases are idiopathic. In others, a specific cause can be identified such as prior surgery, allergic reaction to a drug or a food item, response to a parasitic infection such as schistosomiasis, or systemic collagen vascular diseases.
