Higher magnification showing multinucleated Touton type giant cells. The fibroblastic cells are bland with rare mitoses. These multinucleated giant cells should not lead to the mistaken diagnosis of a sarcoma. The presence of necrosis, increased mitotic activity, and vascular invasion would support the latter diagnosis.
