Ganglio-neuroblastoma

Comments:
On morphologic grounds, ganglioneuroblastomas can be subdivided into two types: 1) Intermixed (Schwannian stroma-rich, imperfect) and 2) Nodular (Composite Schwannian stroma-rich and stroma-poor; immature). The image is a low magnification view of intermixed subtype which shows different stages of neuronal differentiation scattered in a background of abundant neuropil.
