Comments:
Mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma (MTSCC) of the kidney is a recently described low-grade neoplasm with favorable prognosis. Most cases are discovered incidentally. It is a biphasic tumor with spindle cell and epithelial components. The spindle cells have abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and are separated by tubular and papillary structures lined by cuboidal epithelium. The background stroma is myxoid.
