Comments:
Higher magnification of a proliferation center from a lymph node involved with CLL/SLL. It is composed of larger lymphoid cells (prolymphocytes or paraimmunoblasts) which have more abundant cytoplasm, more dispersed nuclear chromatin, and conspicuous nucleoli. The mitotic activity in such foci is increased resulting in a higher Ki-67 labeling index.
