Category: Kidney

slide 2 of 10

Comments:
The tumor is composed of intersecting bundles of spindle-shaped cells with little atypia or mitotic activity. Some cases of solitary fibrous tumor have been associated with hypoglycemia due to abnormal secretion of insulin-like growth factors.
