Mixed Tumor of Skin (Chondroid Syringoma)
This field demonstrates tight cords of bland round cells in a scant myxoid stroma. These monomorphic round cells are forming ductular structures in several areas. Upon careful examination one can appreciate that some cells have a plasmacytoid appearance, with an eccentric round nucleus and dense pink cytoplasm. Typical features of malignancy such as mitoses and pleomorphism are absent.
