Comments:
Patients may report pain or tenderness at the tumor site. Microscopically, the neoplastic cells can be arranged in a variety of patterns including sheets, nests, or trabeculae. The intervening stroma can show edema, hemorrhage, and/or cystic change. The cystic spaces are often filled with eosinophillic, PAS-positive material.
