Comments:
Multicystic nephroma in a 65 y/o female. It consisted of a thin-walled, well-circumscribed multilocular mass filled with serous fluid. The patients usually present with a mass or with symptoms related to ureteral obstruction caused by one of the cysts. Multicystic nephroma is grossly indistinguishable from a lesion that has been term Mixed Epithelial and Stromal Tumor of the Kidney - which is seen usually in middle-aged and older women.
