In this T2-weighted MRI scan (same case as the previous image), the tumor is slightly hyper intense than the surrounding brain parenchyma. Areas of hemorrhage within the tumor are hypo intense creating a heterogenous appearance. The tumor fills up occipital horn of one of the lateral ventricles. The patient was a 4 month old female who presented with signs of increased intracranial pressure. One of the most common presenting symptoms is macrocephaly.
