Comments:
The tumor cells are arranged in anastomosing trabeculae. They have abundant dense eosinophilic cytoplasm, an eccentric nucleus with a prominent nucleolus, and a rounded, eosinophilic cytoplasmic inclusion with nuclear indentation. Rhabdoid mesothelioma is a particularly aggressive subtype. Other variants of mesothelioma that have been described include: clear cell, deciduoid, signet ring, small cell, and adenoid cystic type.
