Comments:
MMMT with areas of osteosarcoma. MMMT is a highly aggressive tumor with poor prognosis. The usual treatment is abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection followed by adjuvant therapy. If the tumor is confined to the inner half of the myometrium at the time of surgery, the prognosis is significantly improved.   return to Mixed Epithelial-Mesenchymal Tumors
