Some of the gland are lined by obviously dysplastic cells in this image. Some cases may be associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. More than half of the cases have been found to contain mutations in STK11 – a tumor suppressor gene responsible for Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.   return to Adenocarcinoma & Related Lesions
