This image shows nuclear enlargement and hyperchromasia, variation in nuclear size, and coarse chromatin. There is evidence of some maturation at the top. Occasional mitotic figures are seen in the lower half of the epithelium.   return to Squamous Cell Carcinoma & Related Lesions
