Comments:
Clear cell adenocarcinomas of the urinary bladder show a strong female predilection and can arise from the surface urothelium or from Mullerian rests. The tumor has tubulo-cystic architecture with abundant pale eosinophilic cytoplasm, moderate nuclear pleomorphism, and occasional mitotic figures. Most cases show tubular, papillary, and diffuse sheet like areas as well.
