Lower power view of another case of hidradenoma papilliferum showing papillary and cystic areas in a collagenous stroma. The tumor is believed to be of sweat gland origin; however, due to its remarkable similarity to intraductal papilloma of the breast, some have suggested it arises from ectopic breast tissue.   return to Benign Epithelial Tumors
