Comments:
The diagnostic criteria for ovarian leiomyosarcomas are similar to those used for uterine tumors. The majority of the cases show at least two of the following features: moderate to severe cytologic atypia, necrosis, and 10 or more mitotic figures/hpf. This case had all three features.
