Category: Ovary

Comments:
Higher power view of a Burkitt lymphoma involving ovary in a 17 y/o female. Numerous tingible-body macrophages can be seen (lighter areas). The ovarian lymphomas in general are bilateral in about half the cases and involve extragonadal sites in about two-thirds of cases. The prognosis is usually poor.   return to Other Rare Primary Ovarian Tumors
