Comments:
This is not a true neoplasm but may resemble one grossly. Obstruction to the lymphatic and/or venous flow due to torsion is believed to be the mechanism. The cut surface has a boggy watery appearance. The photomicrographs shows abundant fluid in the ovarian stroma.
