Comments:
Biphasic synovial sarcoma: The epithelial component consists of nests and gland-like structures resembling adenocarcinoma. The glands are lined by cuboidal or columnar epithelium and contain eosinophilic secretions. The spindle cell component is present on the lower left and consists of uniform fibroblast-like spindle cells with plump nuclei resembling fibrosarcoma. The epithelial and sarcomatous areas may be admixed or sharply demarcated (as seen here).
