Comments:
Microscopic Features: The classic spindle cell lipoma consists of roughly equal proportions of mature adipocytes and uniform, bland spindle cells arranged in short, irregular fascicles. The spindle cells have tapered ends and elongated hyperchromatic nuclei with inconspicuous nucleoli. Mitotic activity is not increased. Necrosis is absent.
