Comments:
Large cell lymphomas of the mediastinum usually affect young adult females and present with superior vena cava syndrome. Involvement of mediastinal structures is common. Histologic features may mimic an epithelial, germ cell or a neuroendocrine malignancy. The image shows pleomorphic lymphoid cells and delicate fibrous bands.
