Comments:
Microscopic features of Sertoli cell tumors (SCT) of the testis: SCT show many architectural patterns, often within the same tumor. At least focal tubular differentiation is seen in most cases. The tubules may be round with open lumens or solid and elongated with compressed or abortive lumens. Some tubules are cystically dilated.

The is variable amount of hyalinized or myxoid stroma around the tubules. Other architectural patterns include diffuse sheets, solid nests, retiform pattern, anastomosing cords and trabeculae, clusters, or even single cells.

In this image, the tumor cells form tubular structures, small solid nests, as well as anastomosing cords and trabeculae. There is moderate amount of hyalinized stroma around the tubules.
