Hepatosplenic T-cell Lymphoma

Comments:
The patient was a 57 y/o female with fever, weight loss and hepatosplenomegaly. Splenectomy showed diffuse infiltration of red pulp by highly atypical cells with a polymorphic background. Flow cytometry results were as follows: POSITIVE: CD3, CD5, and betaF1 (alpha-beta T cell receptor); NEGATIVE: CD5, CD8, CD20, and EBV (by ISH). The diagnosis is Hepatosplenic alpha-beta T cell lymphoma.   return to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
