Comments:
This patient with Gaucher disease was a 9 y/o boy with history of abdominal pain, easy bruising, and signs of hypersplenism. Spleen measured 22 cm in greatest dimension and weighed 1100 grams. Sections from spleen show sheets of macrophages (Gaucher Cells) distended with lipid   return to Lipid Storage Disorders
