Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of a Long Bone in a 65-year-old female patient
Histologically, this lesion is almost the same as "metaphyseal fibrous (cortical) defect" and "non-ossifying fibroma" of bone. Their clinical and radiological features are rather different, however. Here, the age of the patient and the extent (size) of the involvement makes "benign fibrous histiocytoma" the suitable diagnosis.
