Comments:
Aneurysmal bone cyst showing giant cells lining a small blood-filled space. Aneurysmal bone cyst was initially thought to be a reactive process that may follow a fracture or may be seen in association with benign conditions such as giant cell tumor, chondroblastoma, chondromyxoid fibroma, and fibrous dysplasia. However, it may also arise de novo and some recent molecular genetic studies suggest that it may be a neoplastic process.   return to Aneurysmal Bone Cyst
