Comments:
Osteosarcoma involving lower femur. The tumor is located in the distal femoral metaphysis, focally destroying the epiphyseal plate. Proximally, it extends for some distance into the medullary cavity. The tumor has breached the cortex producing a bulky soft tissue mass with the gross appearance of a sarcoma that encircles the bone completely.
