Comments: Intratubular component is often present in embryonal carcinoma. It frequently shows extensive necrosis with resemblance to comedocarcinoma. Such areas undergo dystrophic calcification. The presence of intratubular coarse calcification in scarred areas is often a presumptive evidence of a regressed germ cell tumor.
