Yolk sac tumor (YST) of the testis shows a variety of architectural patterns that are admixed in varying proportions.

Papillary pattern: There are delicate papillary structures with or without fibrovascular core and a single layer of cuboidal or low columnar cells with hobnail appearance. The papillae project into tissue spaces.
