Besides trabecular growth pattern (shown here), adenoid cystic carcinoma of breast may have solid, cribriform, and basaloid growth patterns. Foci of squamous and sebaceous differentiation may also be seen. Most adenoid cystic carcinomas are hormone-receptor negative.   return to Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma
