Comments:
The proportion of neoplastic epithelium and mucin in mucinous carcinomas of breast varies from case to case. Occasionally, the tumor consists entirely or almost entirely of mucin. In this case, small clusters of tumor cells were seen in only a couple of blocks after a thorough sampling.   return to Mucinous (Colloid) Carcinoma
