Comments:
Myoepithelial component (cells with clear cytoplasm in this image) may predominate in some cases of sclerosing adenosis. Their presence can be confirmed with immunohistochemical stains (smooth muscle actin, calponin, p63).   return to Sclerosing Adenosis
