Comments:
Another image from Hashimoto thyroiditis showing prominent Hürthle cell change and lymphocytic infiltrate. Some of the nuclei in the follicular cells are enlarged and irregular. Occasionally, the nuclei may be optically clear creating confusion with papillary thyroid carcinoma.
