It consists of freely anastomosing vascular channels lined by atypical endothelial cells. The risk factors for the development of angiosarcoma of the liver include cirrhosis and exposure to chemicals such as vinyl chloride, thorotrast, and arsenic.   return to Mesenchymal Tumors
