Uncommon histologic findings in adenomatous polyps include: neuroendocrine cells, Paneth cells, squamous metaplasia, clear cell change (shown here), melanocytes, multinucleated giant cells, malakoplakia of polyp stroma, osseous metaplasia, and metastases from another location.
