Comments:
The plasmacytoid cells seen here vary in shape and size. Their infiltrative growth pattern signifies malignancy. The differential for plasmacytoid neoplasms in the small intestine is the same as in other sites. Most of these cases are diffuse large B-cell lymphomas with plasmacytoid features, although the case shown here was a true plasmacytoma.
