Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma : Immunohistochemistry

Comments:
The mucins expressed by mucoepidermoid carcinomas include: MUC1 (common in high-grade tumors), MUC2, MUC4 (common in low-grade tumors), MUC5AC, and MUC5B. Mucoepidermoid carcinomas are usually positive for CK7 and CK14 and negative for CK20. The markers for myoepithelial cells are negative.
