Comments:
Microscopic Features of Hyaline-Vascular Castleman Disease (HVCD): HVCD makes up 90% of cases of Castleman Disease. The remaining 10% are plasma cell type.

HVCD is characterized by numerous small, regressively transformed germinal centers surrounded by an expanded mantle zone and a vascular proliferation in the interfollicular region. Sinuses are inconspicuous or absent. There are bands of fibrosis especially in pericapsular and perivascular regions.
